Short bio(略歴)

Junya Takiguchi is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of International Studies at Ryukoku University (Kyoto, Japan). He received his PhD (in History) from the University of Manchester (UK) in March 2009. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Slavic Research Center (now the Slavic-Eurasian Research Center) at Hokkaido University (Japan) from May 2010 to March 2012 before joining Ryukoku University in April 2012 (as a Lecturer and then an as an Associate Professor in April 2016). He has worked on the history of the Soviet Communist Party, of the British Communist Party and of the Communist International.
