My research interests are based on the theme of examining the relationship between teachers and students in language education, and can be classified into the following four categories: 1) Professional development, 2) Learner autonomy and the instructor’s role in the classroom, 3) Learner autonomy inside and outside the classroom, and student-centred learning, 4) Instructors’ experiences in EMI (EME) programmes (EME).

Class meetings will be conducted through a combination of teaching styles and active learning strategies, including but not limited to class discussions based on the reading of the texts, workshops, individual presentations and small group activities. Students will formulate their research questions through these activities.
