Program characteristics

  • Seminars will serve students not only to deepen their knowledge in the specific field of research but will provide them with complex insights from different disciplines to their research them and thus allowing them to devote themselves to wide-ranging academic studies.
  • Students will present their research on various research meetings and conferences held in and outside of the graduate school what will nurture the necessary skills for becoming independent researchers in the future.
  • In the PhD Research Seminar, first-year graduate students learn the skills and methods necessary to effectively disseminate research results, and cultivate the ability to become self-sustaining researchers.
  • Graduate students build on skills obtained in the first year by developing analytical and observational skills related to their research themes, based on advice and guidance from primary and secondary supervisors, and prepare a doctoral thesis.
